Vagabondz is a club night conceived to hock in the face of the middle-of-the-road clubbing experience. Their miscellany of events currently spans the UK from London to Brighton, Leeds and beyond and for the last two years they’ve built their brand upon consciously delivering a full-fat live experience.
After cutting their festival teeth at the world’s first and largest dubstep festival, Outlook (Pectrane, Croatia) in 2009 in tandem with New Bohemia and Exodus, many more big things loom on the horizon, so just watch this space! The Vagabondz crew strives to effectively rinse the largest sounds from hip-hop to dubstep, drum ‘n’ bass and dub, yet these are a mere handful of the flavours you’ll find showcased at a Vagabondz club night.
Speak to the team and they’ll tell you that “ultimately, us skint and sluggish types need a fucking good reason to leave the house, and we are proud to be pushing the most innovative, bleeding edge talent that the UK has to offer!” And they mean it…a few people who’ve appeared so far include Plastician, Task Force, Mala, N- Type, Foreign Beggars, Rusko, Logan D, Brookes Brothers and Chef, “providing something a tad more involving than hearing some guy spinning the same records that are spilling out of your own doorway” and they hope you’ll leave their nights still flailing your limbs to the echoes of a burly catalogue of fresh noise!
